I just wish to say a big thank you to Freek and Shaun of GWI for helping us to get our emails up and running.
In the end it was Smoothwall blocking incoming mails as its MTU size was 1500 and not 1480... (I feel so stupid, but then again, I learnt something today... 
)
For those who want an uncapped Internet connection, I would recommend GWI's offerings as they are truly uncapped.
