As per above.
Is it just me or do iBurst think that I'm not going to notice 80mb which they haven't given me? Or are they implimenting negative carry-over as well?

Mine was similar but I'm on month to month so technically I shouldnt even get the 500 mb

Bandwidth Remaining : 1.46GB

Mine also read 3.42GB. Initially I thought it was because I didn't reboot my modem before 00:00.

Yeah you should. It's now been changed to all subscribers receiving the data bonus and carry-over. ;)

iBurst continue to cover themselves in glory.

have you looked at the possibility that you did not reset your modem last nite?

I think that for some reason they have now calculated your entire cap as MB, instead of just the additional bandwidth, which would correctly only be 0.48GB.

3500MB = 3.42GB

It should be 3GB + 0.48GB = 3.48

Not much of a difference in the end, but maybe they should take note :(

I turned my modem off last nite 10 minutes before 12 and left it off :( ...

EHV's theory makes perfect sense, and technically they did say a further 500MB will be allocated, not 0.5GB. ;)

Well hes saying the exact same thing I am wrt to final amount, it should be 3572 /1024 = 3.488GB

Hopefully they do actually fix this, otherwise I'll have to phone them about it, and I'll have to go through my MTU settings and Dr.TCP again before they pick up a calculator to fix it. We're being robbed of 70mb here :O Thats big stuff in SA..

They do state the packages as 3500MB and not 3.5GB. So technically the 3.42GB on th report is correct. I did suspect that this was going to happen when they continually reported the packages in MB size rather than GB size.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

I got my 500Mb but I had to do some math because I carried over a sh1tload of bandwidth, am sitting on just under 6 gigs to burn. So ja, they did give it to me although the bandwidth report sent on Sunday said I didn't get any...

Interestingly I as yet don't have my bandwidth report.

EDIT: Went to check on the site and indeed I have 9.28GB. They should have made it absolutely clear that by 9500MB they meant 9500MB and not 9.5GB. Well played iBurst.

They can't just change everything over to MB because they are adding such small amounts to our accounts. The 9GB should still be 9GB like it always was.

Biggest effect on the 9G accounts, I'd say give them a call.

3.42 or 3.5 who the hell cares it's only a few MB anyway and will make no real difference as to what anyone can download.

I finally installed Splinter Cell Chaos Theory yesterday and one of the patches was in the order of 180MB. I'd rather download that at 1Mbps than 64kbps.

iBurst continue to cover themselves in glory.

/me pokes iBurst with finger
/me smells finger

That ain't glory.

I don't think I can remember the last time I read something good abot iBurst...
