Click on the "START/WINDOWS" icon (bottom left).
Move your mouse over COMPUTER, right click and choose PROPERTIES.
You will be given a list of the PC specs. You will also be given something called the Windows Experience Index. At the moment, the max score is 5.9. The score for the PC is based on the lowest score over 5 categories. Generally, the graphics card gives you the worst score, followed by amount of RAM, then processor speed.
You can then compare scores on various PCs. As a guide, I will not recommend any PC with a lowest score less than 3.1.
