Just got the greatest SMS from Virgin Mobile

I put my N80 with the VM sim in on now, and I get this SMS from Sebastian.
Hi I have accidentally credited your VM account with R80 today. If you badly needed it,then please accept it as a gift.Cheers Sebastian. WOW,Great stuff from a great company.:D

Maybe they saw you weren't using it and thought you needed the money.

hey, i wonder if u can top-up a vm account from an atm (like mtn)? if so, maybe somebody (sebastian) keyed in ur number by mistake and accidently credited ur account instead of his... then sms'ed u to see if u would be kind enough to return the airtime. u know, the sympathy vote. am i completely off course here?

Gerald sent me R 100 worth of airtime as i never received any V rewards for February after spending R 700 but seems that V rewards don't come automatically you have to beg for them and i normally do so on hellopeter.com Received nothing for March so far:(

You can at Standard bank and at ABSA too if my memory serves me correctly
 
I once received a message about getting a VReward. I tried to use it, only to find there was nothing there!

It sounds like their system is still up the creek.

Sebastian work's for Virgin Mobile, the other sms I recieved comfirming that VM did indeed give me free R80 airtime: Your mobile has been V charged with R80 airtime.Happy chatting.:cool:

GTi last month i spent R 595 with Virgin Mobile i haven't received any V rewards as yet but if i don't receive it by tomorrow then it's hellopeter.com for me that's the only thing that seems to wake them up
 
Best of luck to you after logging a call on HP.I don't keep tab on what I spend a month on pre_paid. So I can't complain. Question Firefly550 why do you spend so much on a VM pre_paid per month? What do you buy and what's it used for, sorry if it's personal.

I have a fiancee in Indonesia and i did use it for sending sms to her but now I use mobisms, also last month my internet usage was very high because i was recovering from a heart attack and spent two weeks at home. Incidentally i haven't logged a call to HP instead i wrote to Gerald, hope that answers your question GTi and you're welcome:)

GTi i used to have ADSL but found that it was a little too expensive for my liking and i was spending less and less time online and my average cost was R 425 per month. Now with VM last month cost me R 341.00 for the internet and that was a bit high because i was at home during the day. I'm happy now to spend up to R 250 per month on internet usage:)
