axxess's pay-as-you-go package

I would not use pay as you go. Sounds dangerous to me. - I like to have control over it.

I have the prepaid one from Axxess.
 
Just had a look at it - still preffer Web Africa's prepaid. You buy 1 Gb and use that 1Gb in however long it takes you. Run out of Gigs? No Problem - there is an option to auto topup. I see that Axxess have a 5Gb max - no max at web africa.

In the end, Web Africa's service will kick any other ISP's butt.
 
I'm with you on that ZA_medic.

Think pre-paid is safer than pay-as-you-go. What are they charging on pay as you go?

Then why not just by WA prepaid at R70/GB? Much easier and safer.

Now I have a better idea :D

The idea is that the work want to put adsl in at support personnel's houses to enable support personnel to VPN in to work, and from there dial-up to client's sites etc without support personnel having ISDN/dial-up modems at their houses.

I had a look at prepaid, but should we go for 3Gb prepaid, and only use 1Gb or 1.5Gb in a month, that's money down the drain. So I would prefer to have a "scaling" cap which scales upwards as you use it instead of blocking you dead.

Which will work out a bit cheaper as you don't pay for unused bandwidth. Makes a bit of financial sense in the long run.

With Web Africa - you buy 3 Gigs - you keep the 3 Gigs until you use them up. So what ever you dont use in 1 month gets carried over to the next month, so you do NOT loose any unused data.

In this case you might want to look at getting a local only account?
Open Web are (I beleive) the cheepest in this regards with:
10Gb = R69
20Gb = R109
30Gb = R121
