So you thought R6300 was a good investment 'ey?

Well it looks like it may be obsolete before it's had time to lose it's "new toy" smell.

A new Playstation 4 could be less than 18 months away according to a Sony insider. The device will include the same chipset as the current PS3 but where it will differ from the current model is in the drive bay and in the attachment area. It will also include an extensive software suite for the managing of content being streamed to a TV or Hi Fi source.

Lol what crap!! I doubt it will, or it will be branded the Platinum edition but not PS4.
 
As I titled the thread, it won't be a "PS4", but more like the PSX. (remember that? - Ps2 with additional AV features and a lot more expensive?)

King Ken even mentioned his intention to make something like that last year.
 
hmmm... all it is, is a ps3 with new network crap, eg: the xbox 360 elite competitor. so it's gonna be like that ps2 silver, so i can guess they gonna call it a ps3 silver, and as for the ps4, there's a rumor that it might come out it 2010.

You're assuming that the xbox360 isnt going to be upgraded again in the next 18 months?
 
maybe it will be the definite PS3 edition to come out with the Paris Hilton line of cosmetics? Pink PS3 anyone? :p

And the 360 Fanboy strikes again, lol.

Sony already denied this. But let's say it was true, did the PS2 became obsolete because they released the PSTwo? And are all 360's now obsolete unless it's a 360 Elite?
