Replacement parts for Z5500 Speaker set

Anyone has a busted centre speaker of the logitech Z5500 lying around??? ... i just need the silver wall mounting part ... cause is broke :(
 
I have some spare speakers, but not a center one :p

You should be able to make your own with a little effort.
 
Well for anyone interested logitech does not have any replacement parts for the Z5500 ... what a bummer! ...
 
yeah. I have one rear speaker and the control module.

burstards stole the rest :mad:
 
adamr, the exact same thing happened to my center speaker, my bro used some pratly clear set glue or something like that and now it is fine :)
 
Guess what ... contacted Logitech support again ... and they can replace the entire centre speaker ... BUT ... they sending it for free ... how is that for service ! ... i told them it was my fault that i broke the stand and they sending the speaker anyways ... it is actually at customs already cause i got a call from UPS telling me my parcel has arrived in the country and stuff ...

totally amazed!!!

Please post which email addy you used to contact them or which phone number for future ref please.
 
Please tell me how you got that free centre speaker, i wouldnt mind getting mine replaced, i mean sure its fine now but you never know how long that glue lasts :)

im shocked, never expected this ... will feedback, when i get the speaker which should be monday (as per the ups site)

EDIT: i did send th pic of the speaker with broken base when queried if they stock the part ( i thought my dinovo was also in the pic, maybe thats why they sent the speaker seeing that i really loved their products .. but the dinovo was not in the pic)

i got the replacement speaker sitting next to me on my desk and not a single cent paid ... and delivered to my door via UPS ... wow!!! ... never have i gotten such customer service ever ... where can i say just how greatful i am, so everyone can see how amazing logitech has been ... i will buy their products over and over again ...
 
That's amazing service from Logitech. Karma, adam... it kinda cancels out the ding on yer ride.

BTW, I'm even more happy now that I have Z5500's too.
 
So you just asked if they stock the part and sent a pic and said they'd replace it? did you have to send your old centre speaker back aswell im gussing?

no .. no need to send old speaker back ... when ups guy came to door i thought id need to py customs cost ... guess what nothing ... i did not pay a cent ...

I asked for the base, they told me no they cant supply the base, so i asked about the entire centre speaker... lady said i must give her my home address and i did and said before they post plese tell me how much it will cost ... at which point she said there is no cost ....

I did point out to them it was my fault and that it broke while trying to mount it onto the wall ...

Z5500's are amazing ...

... ding on car ... i am the only person that can see it .. my dad, my sis , GF ... no one can see it but me ... think i got some voodoo done on me ...
 
hehe :), well I'm email them and see what they say :D, since might sound a little stupid but so you saying you got to keep your broken speaker and they gave u a new one so you got 2 centre speakers now? & if so, outta curiosity any way you can plug both in :D
