what game are you currently stuck with and where?

For me its definitely "Scarface", man i love this game- vast like GTA with a drug twist of note to it, not to mention a cuss every second word, i love the way the liddle cooban talks aswell- heck i sometimes find myself repeating things with the same accent:p

Im stuck on this one part whereby im on a helicopter and i have to take out this guy nacho's oil tanker so as to take over his island, im getting ripped to shreds every time i try and get past this part though, just too many men on the ship as i fly over, any suggestions?

Im the kinda guy that likes to finish one game before starting another( im itching to start this god of war 2 i just purchased), i know sometimes thats not possible and ive really given up and tossed the disk as far as the eye can see (Games like shinobi,GTA,onimusha- dawn of dreams, blast chamber etc)
but id really like ta finish this game, its unleashed my inner mobster and its way fun!:p
so basically, anybody played this game yet, anybody finished it, how does one get past that annoying part.

Also, what game are you currently stuck with and where- maybe myself or one of the other guys can help you out in turn, good topic no?:)

Hey bro, I don't know how long you've been a gamer, but back in the day when I played, I was a real cheater, I used trainers and cheats and walkthroughs and it worked really well, because I don't have much patience playing games ;)

Nacho's Tanker¦

This is one of the worst missions. It's long and quite hard. When you start, you
are in a chopper with an escort. A few boats appear, take them out with your
machine gun. The other chopper gets blown up whatver you go and you can't stop
it so don't worry about that. Next eventually get to the tanker. Just keep
shooting as much as you can glancing at the radar to see where your enemies are.
Take out as many goons as you can. Eventually you will have gone round and the
chopper will drop you off. Luckily you have a checkpoint here. OK.

Bombs. Big bombs. Run towards the first one, but don't forget to take out
everyone you see before you start. You should have enough time. Once you've
taken everyone out, run towards the bomb and check your radar so no one is
coming. You have to defuse the bomb with the meter. If you fail BOOM!!! Luckily
there is a checkpoint but try to get it right first time out.

Next, two boats spawn. Run down the left side of the boat until you see a part
with a machine gun. Use it and gun down the boats as they go past.

Now you have to get another bomb at the cargo hold at the bottom. Just keep
following the marker, this should take you down somestairs and into a hatch. Be
careful there are loads of enemies here. Keep going down the path and turn right
out another hatch. Watch out here, there are tons of enemies. There should be
some stairs leading down. There's a few goons near the bottom, make sure you
an AK or carbine here. Just keep going to the bomb, the gangs will keep coming
till you defuse the bomb. Just wait till there aren't many left and go to defuse
the bomb.

There's one bomb left. Also there are more boats that you have to take care of!
Well just find another machine gun and get rid of those stupid boats, they're
scattered around everywhere. You have to go down a few floors and then just
follow the blip taking out everyone as you go. When you are near about 15
enemies spawn right outside the bomb! Use RAGE here if you can. Next defuse the
bomb and atleast that's the bombs out of the way. But wait, there's more...

You now have to kill the captain and foreman. On your way there try to get RAGE.
The captains right at the top of the ship just follow the stairs up and take him
out.

Now for the foreman. This isn't hard if you RAGE. Just follow the blip and when
you can use RAGE to get rid of him and then finally you're done!

Thanks for that teraside, i actually managed to pass this part this morning, got blown to hell for about 3 hours though:mad: , but i used my tried and trusted remedy- keep playing until either you or the playstation yells uncle;)
Now im wheeling and dealing da coke again, yeah baby!:D
I never thought id say i got stuck on a rpg but i got stuck on the ps2 exclusive shadow hearts: covenant, man i never realized how important haste spells were til i played this game, i mean these damn worms were casting haste on themselves, stealing my attack rounds and wiping me out before i had a chance to say wtf just happened? grrr:mad:
im at the end of ff12 now and im just tryin to clear up the rest of my level ups and hunts before i have to finish the game, man am i sorry to see the end of this game:(

Me too. I suspect somehow you have to get your snipers across the river and then get use artillary to bombard that thing sitting in the tiberium field while defending your base but I cant get across, either sniper team gets taken out or they overrun my base. If you find a solution please let me know. I will keep on trying though. lol

One of the greatest games ever for me was Snowball Fight.exe. Fantastic little timewaster when you are at your pc at work. Similar addiction to StickCricket, but more fun.

Mission Four: Berne

Primary Objectives

Digging In

At the outset, you have a sizable base to work with here, but as you might expect it’ll come under fire fairly quick. Build a war factory near the front lines and crank out a couple of harvesters, then build a Rig and deploy a Battle Base on the other side of your construction yard. You’ll need to have tanks defending both sides of the main approach to your base, so get them set up with the war factory and battle base so that they can get repaired as necessary. Position the war factory in front of the construction yard a bit so that you can cluster more vehicles around it, and do the same for the Battle Base. Feel free to add another Battle Base in front of the construction yard, as well, to ensure that there are no gaps in your repair coverage.



Expect plenty of attacks to be coming your way here.
Enemies will attack from the front, but you’ll also have plenty of enemy light vehicles coming your way from the north and planes coming from the east. Spread some Predators around in the north, then, and seed the eastern side of your base with missile squads or Pitbulls. There are going to be more of those annoying, long-range artillery aircraft coming from multiple sides during this battle, so you may want to create a squad of ten or fifteen Bulldogs and keep them in reserve to deal with these guys.

Build up the tech tree here as quickly as you can, starting with a Tech Center to enable you to build a few Mammoths, and don’t forget the railguns! After the initial assault by the Scrin, things will settle into a frenetic but relatively stable routine. Heavy ground assaults featuring Tripods will come at you from the east, so build a few Mammoths and keep them near the war factory or Battle Base to keep them repaired, and plop down a sonic emitter or two on that side of the base to help in the defense. The Tripods are upgraded with shielding, so they’re tougher than normal, and seem to attack more ferociously as well.

Lastly, build a couple of airbases to the rear of your little base here. Firehawks with missile loadouts will be big helps when dealing with the artillery planes; your missile launchers of various stripes can deal with the smaller planes.


The Bonus Objectives

Now, when you have the situation relatively stabilized, it’s time to focus on your bonus objectives. Build a Space Command Uplink and an Ion Cannon Control Center for a bit more help, then focus whatever cash you have on building a fleet of Mammoths. You’ll want around ten or fifteen of them.



If you can sneak snipers into the enemy base, you can hit their buildings with Juggernaut fire.
There are two ancillary bases on this map, as mentioned in the briefing, one to the north of your base and one to the east. Your Mammoths will be able to run through the crystals surrounding them and destroy the bulk of each base, with hopefully minor losses. We took out the airbase first, to the east, as those air units are damn annoying. It won’t stop all of the air units coming your way, as some come from the main base, but it’ll help a lot.

When you destroy either of the two ancillary base Drone Platforms, you’ll get another bonus objective: Destroy the Alien Signal Transmitter. The transmitter is located at the rear of the enemy base, and as such will be almost impossible to get to with any conventional units. Your Ion Cannon can fire through the fog of war, though, so use that to take it down. If you’re unable to destroy it, you’ll only have around a minute before it summons a Mothership, a huge alien flying warship. You have a bonus objective for destroying it, but you won’t have any choice, since it’ll come straight towards your base. Your Firehawks with missile loadouts should be capable of taking it down.

When the first Drone Platform is down, return your Mammoths to your main base and repair them. Build up a few more to replenish their numbers and take down the second ancillary base, then gird yourself for a major attack on the enemy’s main base.


The Berne Ultimatum

The Scrim’s main base in the northeastern corner of the zone is filled with artillery aircraft and shielded Tripods. It has plenty of anti-air defenses, as well. You have to take out the primary Drone Platform here, but again, it’s well guarded. Since the attacks on your own main base will mostly have died down, though, you should be able to get as much cash as you want at this point, so feel free to build 30 or more Mammoths and a dozen or more Firehawks with bomb loadouts. When you’re ready for the main assault, you can send in your Mammoths to start the fun, weaken the Drone Platform with an Ion Cannon strike, then send in the Firehawks on a suicide run to destroy it entirely and win the fight.
