It used to work perfectly, what is the problem? It just happened overnight. My windows firewall is off and i uninstalled my anti-virus if it were the case. Maybe it the ports? I donno how to open them, can you help?

First question: Have you powered down the router and waited a few seconds and then powered it back up again? Remove the power from the wall. 9 times out of 10 this solves my problem.

If you don't know, then you probably haven't done it. You say it was working properly a day or 2 ago?
What OS are you using? Windows XP?
i probably did eh, telkom made me do things wit my connection when my internet was down

Open a command prompt, type ipconfig.
Is the default gateway listed there the same as the internal IP of your ADSL router?

Is your Laptop setup to acquire an IP address and other settings automatically, i.e. via DHCP?
