Foxit Reader loads 20mb PDF's on my system in a split second, no bloat, no mess.

When are software companies like Adobe going to learn that just because the average Joe has 512mb+ RAM and a 2ghz+ CPU that they don't actually have to design their software to run on a HAL 9000?
 
I used to use Foxit and another program that could edit PDFs, and create them.

I'm wondering (can't remember) if Foxit has any of these "powers". Seeing as Adobe has made most people think it must be illegal to edit a PDF or something :(
 
I've never really needed to edit PDF files, so I've nothing useful to say regarding that.

For PDF *creation* I normally just use the default export tool in Open Office.
