well its been tipped to take WOW from the top spot,This coming from someone who lives and breathes wow.

Im looking forward to this,Ive been reading the forums and i really like the one idea of been able to summon a minion together with your friends based on mana and spells IE: 4 locks summon a minion together !

It looks great. I would love to play it but I need a bigger cap instead of sharing 3 gig between 4 people before I can play such a game. Maybe in a few months time.:(

If not I would leave WoW.

If it has a monthly fee too I might as well keep playing WoW ;)
 
It looks interesting. The fact that it's coming to 360 as well has me very interested, but I doubt it'll pip Wow, the contents to Mature and it'll have to compete with LOTR online as well.
 
well its not like WoW where its a simple click click click pew pew pew game!

melee class have like 7 different combo attacks plus many more,Bowmen have 3rd person exploration view like others but when it comes to using a bow you go into a FPS view which brings up various spells and attacks,one in particular was the sniper view.There is a rogue/thievery class aswell which looks fun.

I watched a vid in pre beta where a bunch of players ambushed a caravan carrying mail,gold,supplies ect ect.was pretty scweeet imo

as for if its going to be a monthly subs well i think it will be the same as wow and might even be cheaper.

Look i still like wow and will be a fav in my all time list BUT WoW its dead dead dead,The whole idea for wow was a 40 man raid guild,Ventrilo tactics and raid addons,Its simply gone to s@#t now.

I for one miss the old wow not this TBC crap!

EDIT: plus u can ride around on a horsey with a lance and pew pew pew pew lolz!!

heh heh.

Although not a direct competitor, more Guildwarsy, there's Two Worlds coming out as well which looks pretty good. That and Project offset should have my "online Fantasy" universes tied up for a while.
 
I still place my bet on LOTRO being a direct competitor to WoW. It has a ton of solid lore to build on.
 
You can not begin to understand the level of depth in wow when your still on lvl 27 pitbull ^^

I also thought that baring in mind its the LOTR lore,but what i have heard isnt good,tis shav as my English buddies call it, But who knows.

and i was like "NO wai" and they were like "waste of time" maybe they wow freaks !!:sick:

EDIT: is it even out yet LOTRO? ive seen something bout it but never seen anything real/facts.

Ye, it's been released in the EU and US. Going to be released here the 17th May. I've been living off a diet of YouTube videos in the interim. WoW was fun but 2.5 years is way too long to play any game exclusively. :)

you know that uncapped for 1200 bucks a month @ 300 rand each surely you guys can afford that

surely you guys can all aford 100-200 bucks a month for bw

they have pvp aswell not that it means much to us peeps from SA with our wonderfull internet/latency speeds,But a PVP war!!! yep A WAR!! like hundreds of players in the middle of nowhere with wepooons of mass destruction (IE: really big arrows) fighting for the rights of a kingdom!!
