Let's see where they stick that probe ???
 
They're going to kick it around a bit, make some changes, get the press happy, release a relatively open act that allows for amendment, and then use amendments to get exactly what they wanted in the first place, once the press support has mostly withered, believing they've won. Then, once the government have the amendments set up as they want, it'll be too late for the media.

bunch of drama queens :)

there is no hope of getting anything like what they originally proposed through under the current constitution

i have been sitting in the portfolio committee hearings and the committee knows it has been landed with a piece of crap draft bill which it will have to substantially redraft (and which i would be very surprised to see finalised in the short to medium term)
