Motorists have to pay R30 maintenance fee per transaction for eNaTIS from July

All we need now is for Radebe and his consortium of dipsh1ts to arrive at work in a clown car. That will complete the farce.

I want a refund for the taxes I paid towards the R410 million rand they spent on a crock of ****, developed by semi-sapient clowns.

Isn't this the way of our government?

1. Government F*cks up
2. Government takes no responsibility
3. Government blames the public for just existing
4. Government creates a new tax

what a joke this is turning out to be. No accountability at all...No pressure to deliver by ministers so why make a fuss of trying to do things properly.

I reckon I will join the strike.
Let's see what happens if the middle and upper class decide to do no work as well.

FFS man this sucks donkey balls
50 000 transactions per hour = R1.5M per hour wtf are they making gold I recon an oil refinary will struggle to invoice that per hour.

lol - you assume the 50 000 is true. More like 5!

eishNATIS is slower than Mugabe's last remaining brain cell (but slightly LESS efficient).
:D

An eNatis project manager, Werner Koekemoer, later said the database was a terabyte in size and consisted of about a billion files.

Well with a name like that ... clown ;).

More like a billion records Werner you chop. anyone who designs a database with a billion files should be knelt down and summararily shot.

lol!

But yeah, that is a common expression from idiots who use Excel as a database. Just goes to show the calibre of person involved.

No real DBA would ever make that mistake, even when "talking down" to the media.

Now, I'm just a noobcake interweb user but surely from reading that article, the phrase 'runs on a single database' is a trifle concerning. Where is the redundancy?

Thank god I got my car relicensed in Feb :D
