Namco not happy with PS3 sales

So Namco has come out and said they are unhappy with the way that the PS3 launch has gone. They do however go on to say that they expect it to pick up but really could they not?

You can't really blame them for being unhappy though because the Wii has once again kicked the **** out of the PS3 in Japanese sales

Yeah the Xbox still doesn't feature at all really in Japan.... Why don't Microsoft pack up the Japanese Xbox server and move it over to us instead... We will at least appreciate that
 
Yeah, why does MS worry about the Japs if they have weird gaming tastes anyhow. Send their servers over to SA, or shall we start a petition for it?

Uhhh, lets see, even as a distant third, 360 has an install base of over 300000 in Japan?

How about the fact that the Japanese come up with some pretty zany stuff and have been the cradle of gaming for decades? South Africans claim to fame is probably the most number of chipped PS2's per 100 users . . . .

What they do need is to give their marketeers a kick in the nuts. Their Japanese advertising is worse than the European PS3 campaign.

I want all those funky Japanese games for the 360. Like Witch Touching . . .

I can't wait to play witch hunting. There are also other soft porn homebrew goodies for the DS. They're lame. But I downloaded them anyway because I am weak.
 
One thing I don't understand... The PS3 and Xbox 360 are aimed at the 18-28 mainly male demographic... They find it acceptable to have blood and guts all over the place and foul language but not a single "adult" game...

Now we all know that sex sells so do you think this is M$ imposing their values on everyone else? I know it is Sony since they don't even want porn on their Blu-Rays...

Just a thought?

I was thinking more along the lines of Leisure suit larry though, not real porn just more adult themed,
 
hmmm...i dont think the wii really has a porno on there mind, but i can't imagine how funny that would be if they launched a Leisure suit larry with a all new remote with "rub action"

Uhmmm, you do know that the PlayStation has one of the biggest collection of porn or "Hentai" games in the world?

There are more porn games for the PS2 than any other console.... maybe even more than the PC. :eek:

OK, 99.99999999% of them are made by the Japenese coz they weird but still. That's alot. :)

. . . I was going to object to that statement, but, yeah you're right. ;)

But in all honesty, even the Sony faithful, wouldn't you rather they focused their attention on delivering a really solid sequel for both platforms rather then waste time on a port that will probably end up losing them money anyway?
 
Which platform do you think they are going to make the sequel for?

I expect the PS3 to get a crappy port of the sequel anyway to be honest.
