Hi guys, where do you buy your pc parts from? I'm trying to find out which shop will be the cheapest in SA - and would maybe gimme a discount for buying a whole R11000 gaming pc from them...
Please don't tell me Rectron, I'm not able to buy directly from them...

supersunbird has some good deals going - ask him for a quote
 
Syndicate at systemshock if your in the pta/joburg area. I buy all my hardware from him.

The other dealers at Systemshock are also excellent and I have heard only good things from Supersunbird.

If you want a shop the only one I would recommend would be prophecy.

Well, what I'm looking for is something like this :
ASUS motherboard - not too particular of which specs, except DDR800 comp.
Intel Core2Duo 6420 or 6600.
1GB DDR800 RAM (single chip, will buy more later)
Reliable brand Geforce 8800GTS 320MB, 320bit
DVD-RW
Samsung 22" Wide LCD Display(2ms response)
I already have 2x250GB HDD's - already have my gaming mouse etc...

Chassis+Sufficient PSU - stylish, with lots of fans-lol...(About R1200-R1500 for both).
If I can't find the screen I'll buy it from here : http://www.buy247.co.za/products.php?productsid=3542 (R3299-delivery included)
 
I can buy the abovementioned pc from pcint.co.za for about R10022.88, without the chassis+PSU, seems I'll have to cut down somewhere, my budget won't allow me over R10500:o
 
That vat inc? pcint pricelist excluding vat.
 
If you're in Jo'burg/Pretoria area, buy from SuperSunbird. So far his prices kills everything else out there.
 
pcint is cheaper than 95% of the people out there. You'll struggle to find better prices
 
why not just cut down on screen size maybe

rather have a smaller screen with great hardware

a nice big screen is all good and well but performance is what matters :)

It's all OK, if I manage to sell my pc (in the classisfieds), I'll have an extra R3000 odd to spend - yeeha!
In the meantime I'm gonna buy the pc part by part... Coming in to Joburg tomorrow to get my screen, screencard and chassis..
