my screen has decided to give its last breath over the w'end.

now i have decided to get a new lcd monitor, i only have about 2k to spend. i see at hifi corp they have Hanns-G 19" LCD monitor for 1,8k or a 19" benq for about the same price.

what is your guys opinions on this, or if you know of somthing better, even used will do

thx frag, this seems like a better option, as i have never bought from hifi corp, but i hear funny stories about them.

quick question about this screen "The feature allows simultaneous connecting PC and another sources such as DVD, game console or another PC/Note-BooK" whats that mean in stupidly plain english

This is one of the best LCD monitors around even at gaming.

hanns-g would be an awesome buy

i have the 19" one and its really amazing

but yea that samsung looks sweet

it depends if you want to go the widescreen route or not. R2000 will be more than enough for something under 5ms.

19" widescreen LCD's are far to small, vertically a 17" is taller & the 19" widescreen has some arb default resolution. IMO widescreen only worth it >22"
