300gig local cap ADSL, Which company?

Yoyo ppls, there was a company advertising 300gigs local cap with something like 2gigs of international bw. I saw it being advertised here not too long ago, can any1 remember which company it was?

It's 30 gig local cap, 2 gig int cap and it's an IS based solution. Their are numerous ISPs which sell these accounts, but u can try the likes of WebAfrica or OpenWeb who seem to be the most popular.
 
300GB would cost you = R1300
much better than the SAIX costs for 300G hahah

anyways.. my useless comment for the day is done.
 
and just what are you going to do with that 300GB local ? hehe

Damn is that cheap? Seems dirt cheap to me.

You doods who think im smoking something, I remember the banner clearly!
It went something like:
"Why be gready?".. with a pic of a pig on it i think. And then it said uncapped adsl... (well 300gig local).

I checked out B2Es accounts, most them have high download rates, and slower upload rates.

Im looking to run my server, and need high upload rates. But its gonna be for local boys, so no need really for any/much international bandwidth. Free domain regristration would be a plus. Is it just me or do all adsl accounts offer statis IPs?

Excuse my ignorance ive been on dial up forever!

Well the fastest upload speed that you will be getting on ADSL is 384 which is by no means "high upload rates".

I personally think its silly trying to host anything on ADSL in SA
 
sounds like you need a pack similar to co-location, a dedicated server or a virtual server which is hosted directly on the IS, SAIX or Verizon backbone. The prices will vary depending on the bandwidth you need, but it's going to be very pricy regardless :)

I think that is the answer to wot i wanna do, thanks mon. And thanks for the info guys.
There goes my idea of running a server really cheaply grrr!
