Wii to be released on the 10th of August

no price as yet, the last rumour had it at R3500 is I remember correctly but that is way overpriced and I think you should be able to expect it at +-R2700?

Yeah well If it comes in at that price I won't buy it from THEM. Honestly, you can pick up a chipped WII right now for R3600. No waiting for release dates etc. Now I haven't because of a number of reasons. I can afford the games, the console etc and really have no desire to pirate as I also want to "do the right thing". But honestly, the "morality" argument gets a little thin when they try to rape us. It's a two way street.

I agree with GM. It should come in at R2500. I would like it to be R2750. I will accept R3000. But R3500? Oh come on. Just because we live in the bottom bit of Africa doesn't mean we are stupid.
