where can i find that little blue book that second hand car dealers, use to determine the trade in price of the vehicle, online

just call a dealer and ask them for a trade in quote. then add a few grand to it.

trade = R24500 and retail = R33400 (not taking into account condition)

Can't someone start a free site that does this? Pathetic really to pay for this info.
 
Ugh, this stuff actually goes against the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). Smacks of dealership/manufacturer price collusion. Wish I had the energy to make a complaint with the Competition Commission, but I just want to sell & buy a car at a fair price and quickly.

Javs any help on this? How much can I expect to pay for a 2nd hand, 3 door Rav4 (2003-5)? Estimated 120k/kms on clock?
(Yesterday a certain group said they have a "2006" model, R160K, 42K/Kms - another person from same group told me today its R159K, 41K/Kms clearly been dipped in fountain of youth)

How much can one get for a 2 litr, Peugeot 206cc, 2004 or 2006, 99K/KMs? Was told R50k max for trade in!
