24 is good...though u must start from the first season. The first 5 seasons are really good with twists that really surprise u. Season 6 was disappointing. Started out well but then the story makes really stupid twists just to keep the viewer interested. I recommend you to get hold of the first few seasons and check it out.

Yippie, I'm glad that I'm not the only one watching 24. I just love it. But it's true, season 6 isn't that good. They must get another story, or theme for the next 2 seasons. Maybe make Jack one of the crooks, that'll be something to see!:D

I recommend Battlestar Galactica. I rate it even better than heroes, jericho & lost. Give it a shot, it might surprise you. What makes it good is that it's not about sci-fi, the plot is very much character driven.

This does not suprise me. What does, is the speed with which things get cancelled/ shortened. They don't give these things enough time.

In the US, they often keep a first series short. And then gauge its popularity before commissioning a second series. But they are often too quick to can a series. Recently, they did that with The Black Donnellys. But t is not always because the show is bad but because it was placed in a timeslot that competed with something popular and well established.

If you haven't seen The Wire (and you most likely haven't) then get it. Its brilliant. I watched all 4 seasons in a row. Its an HBO drama about organised crime. Not Mafia stuff like The Sopranos (also very good) but rather black drug dealers. Another difference is that it also spends an equal amount of time from the police viewpoint.

Nah Sept/Oct series are usually a safe bet, it's the summer shows that we should be concerned about.

I think the whole Traveler thing got to me, 'cos it could quite easily have succeeded if it were aired during their winter.

Then again ABC and Fox aren't exactly well known for good management of their shows.

Watched the end of traveler as well, which was not doing too badly. Thought they could rather have ended it right there and then with perhaps a two-hour finale and then it would have been fine.

On the IMDB message board the creators of traveler are responding to questions with regards to whats gonne happen to the series. At the moment there is a campaign going to save traveler like what was done with jericho. The creators have also said they will give all the answers to questions regarding the show if the campaign to save traveler fails.

Okay, Guys. I've checked in and I hear you on the whole "hold off the blog posting" front. TNT seems like a good target, but as I've been honest with you on everything from the beginning, I want to make sure you know what you're up against as you mount this new campaign. I don't want to be accused of egging fans on in any kind of "hopeless attempt." So, in the past, when shows have jumped networks, they have usually done so after full 22 episode seasons. We had 8. JERICHO, which was saved by CBS, had 100,000 signatures on their petition. We have 25,000. The main reason for the difference? The JERICHO campaign had major publicity. It was covered on every media outlet in the country. I have seen the Porters-and-soldiers webpage, and it is an awesome campaign headquarters. But, unless there is a way to promote campaign awareness to the masses, I think it will be hard to muster the numbers needed for TNT to take this seriously. Lastly, those of us who worked on TRAVELER have reached the point where we have to move on to other jobs. Remember, we have not been paid on TRAVELER since the end of last year and we have families to feed. While it's not impossible for us to get back to work on the show, it certainly is not easy. I think the idea of getting TNT to re-air the episodes and then do some kind of wrap-up movie would be awesome. I have NO idea if that's ever been done though.

So, again, I've heard you. I will hold off until September 19th to post the blog. That will be two months since the last on-air episode. I think if there is no traction to keep the show going after that, we all need to accept the fate. But if you're up for the campaign, get creative in terms of garnering media attention. And as always, stay positive. The networks respond to kind fans a lot better than they do to angry ones.

It's a bit like Season Two of Prison Break - same characters but the situation has changed drastically from the 1st...

As for Private Practice, I am not loving it at all. Seems to wish it was Grey's Anatomy but isn't. :( Enough with the WGA strike already!

I saw the first season of Prison Break. It was good. However, for me it went about the prison, and the break.
Have no interest in seeing season 2.
