CNBC Africa goes live

This page should explain. As far as I know, Sentech's Vivid satellite broadcasting is free-to-air (i.e. no subscription) - assuming you have a Vivid decoder.
 
Vivid is Sentech's previous failed attempt at competing with noChoice. It uses a different decoder (mistake 1) and a weaker encryption (mistake 2). The decoders are relatively expensive, but it does give you SABC 123 and e without further charge.
