I am ready to freakin kill any person wearing a telkom shirt!!
Last night at around 5pm, my router disconnected, and the synch lights started flashing, then when I picked up the phone there was no dial tone.
So foolishly I started dialling 0800375375 from 5pm, well that did not go off too well. I was on the cell for an hour without speaking to a living soul, I tried till 9 pm, with not getting through once. O wait I did get through, I phoned the normal phone repair number, and guess what, I spoke to a moses, and according to moses he'll send an email to the adsl department, to log the call (which he never did).
This morning at 7:45, I finally got through and logged the call. At 11, I tried to find out how long it will take before a technician actually shows up, and was informed, that it takes 5-8 days.5-8 DAYS!!!!!! Its rediculous for any person to think I will sit and wait for them for 8 days!!
Telkom use to have phone numbers on their website, where you can phone up to the upper echelons of power to get results, but I see they have taken it away. I phoned the normal customer care line and have been talking to an imbicile called Lydia, but as you can tell, that is as progressive as fungus growing.
Please...does anyone still have these telkom numbers where I can go and complain my head off and atleast attempt to feel better
