I normally google before i ask something but this time i couldn't find anything...

Is it possible to connect a simple low cost camera with rca to ethernet(router) and monitor it from home via my wireless network, without the need of a pc on the other side...hope this make sense.

Doubtful.

I assume you mean some how wire the RCA into an ethernet plug, and plug into router.

What you can do (although it goes against your original question) is get a cheapish old PC, a tv card and ZoneMinder (OS).
Or, just buy an ethernet camera.

omg - those are pricey!

I will pass this link on to someone who knows more and let him respond. But, I have seen prices in the under R900 mark.

You can buy the same unit at www.miro.co.za for about R1170.00. SRP.

thanks, but it seems theres something wrong with their pricelist,it's blank,dl it twice.

EDIT:
Phoned their CT branch. The 4 port video server is OVER R4000.00.Hell no,i'll rather go the Hong Kong route.
