Can anyone translate?
My Afrikaans isn't great but basically I think they're saying the cops have info that there are plans to shoot at and throw stones at cars along all the freeways, police are on standby, don't drive on any freeway in Gauteng and warn all family and friends.

Just my 2 cents worth, but considering last year was the 30th anniversary of the riots , why would they pick the 31st anniversary to do anything?

I doubt if this is true. There would have been public outcry if the media received confirmation about this.
