BlackBerry to take you ‘beyond e-mail’

Much like with PDA's South Africans dont seem interested. I think the conventional phones and junk like the N95 get too much marketing here

I wouldnt trade my blackberry for anything - except for a newer one of course - the Curve or the Pearl would suit me just fine :D

The Blackberry service does not suit everyone and for me emoze does a better job.

Don't want to use the "providers" e-mail addy for replying to business e-mail ..... and don't have the funds for a dedicated server.

Not for me thanks.

I've never used the providers email address

I've got several of my own accounts set up on it - iirc 5 is the limit. imap accounts obv work the best but it polls pop too.

You have your own Exchange server ?

Gonna give the BB Connect client for the TyTN a try and see what happens.
Nope, no exchange server. Vodacom finally did an upgrade a while back and it plays nicely with my existing accounts. All the other syncing - ie contacts and calendar - I do with a computer.

EDIT - my webhost offers a exchange server package but I havent figured out if it's worth it yet.
