ok, i've had my Black Macbook for abouot 3 and a half months now. it spends about 80% of its like attached to power. i dont turn it off much. just leave it sleeping while its connected to power and im not using it. it has gone through 29 charge cycles.... and is currently sitting on 93% battery health!?!?! that cant be good? :(
any tips? or is this normal?

Unplug it from the power and use the battery more, or drain the battery to 50 % and take it out of the laptop. I've gone thru 202 cycles and my battery is now at 86% health.
I always discharge my battery completely before plugging it into normal power again.

Apply any battery updates and recalibrate the battery.

I also had the q and I phoned Digicape and spoke to one of the techies. They told me the batt will run down to about +-85% health and then do a full charge up to 100% health. I found that this was true and now I dont worry about the batt.

But always good practice is to run the batt low at least onces every few days and then charge it up again.

Mine has done 70 cycles, and on 95% health ... pretty much run it down completely when it is not connected to the AC ... If I have to unplug the AC mid-charge, I will keep it disconnected until it is completely run down again.

I dont want to put a kibosh on it so I'll just say I'm pretty happy about my battery health so far. ;)

You must also look on the Apple site to see if your batt maybe fall under a bad batch. They will have sn and model numbers.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself
