Virgin Mobile is turning 1 today (28 June 2007). I've just received an SMS announcing FREE Virgin To Virgin SMSes till the 30th of June. I was hoping for Free Calls. Lol


Here's the SMS. "YIPPEE! Virgin Mobile is 1 year old today. To celebrate all Virgin to Virgin SMSs u send will be FREE until midnight on the 30th of June. Happy messaging."

BTW, i've bought my VM starterpack on the 28th of June 2006 . :)

Maybe they hate me too? No indication of any "Free SMS's" to be seen. I use my VM sim as a data simcard, so I have not received a sms in a long time. But I'll test out the Free SMS to VM customers to see if it's true.
 
No SMS here either (2 different accounts). Perhaps it got lost along with my VRewards ;)

I hope the next year brings less cockups, faster data, reliable data, better voicemail, better customer service, cheaper rates,.... oh dang ... may as well start a new company while you're at it ;)
 
Hello Everyone,

We made use of an external agency to message our customers, the intention was that all of our customers get to SMS: "Virgin to Virgin for free until 30 June". Once I get the delivery report I can verify the hit-rate. Please do go ahead and make use of the free V 2 V SMS, they are for all of our customers.
