I've been having these small bugs, wondering if anybody else has the same problems.

1.) My ethernet modem intermittently soft disconnects the connection.
"soft disconnect = connection icon is still there, but can't access internet or the icon until I restart system. Now this only happens on my NVidia Ethernet controller but works fine on my 3com PCI Ethernet.

2.) My LG H20 18x DVDRW drive does this 1sec jerk thing every 45min or so when waching movies, like it's buffering or something

3.) I also had the problem earlier today where I pop in a movie dvd, explorer shows the title, but no autoplay. Take out the disk and it shows DVDRW drive as CD Drive, restart pc and all is fine again.

4.) Emm...I have this list of favourites links in my IE6 Favourite bar but for some odd reason the the link icons have dissapeared.

These are small things, but I would like to know what's causing them.

For the ethernet problem, are you using iburst? If I connect my iburst through the ethernet, it will do that and i have to restart to connect. Still havent found a way to fix it either :(

It could be that your networking drivers fail silently? Or maybe Generic Host Process?

the DVD ROM should haue at least a ATA 66 cable - it should also be on the secondary IDE port

Well I only have one IDE port on my pc, and yes the optical is on a UDMA cable.
