hey guys ive been trying free MMO's on this forum and the web generaly for a while and never found something i liked...
But then i stumbled apon this game called Global MU online. its a free to play game, by a Korean company. it reminds me allot of diablo2, which i loved, which is probably why i like it so much.
they also dont give you these little run-around quests to start off with: you create a character, run into the wild, kill monster, get stronger and better kit, then go kill bigger monsters. then as you progress into higher levels you can enter what they call "server events", which i gather are instance type battles with big monsters and bosses for xp and cool gear, but i havent got that far yet(i have a lvl31 character, the game goes up to lvl400 characters!!!).
I have to say though, theres no ingame tutorial so it took me a while to get the feel for the game and what to do, but if youve played D2 you'll get it pretty quick.
Bellow are some links of interest... if some of you dicide to try it out post your ingame nick so that we can add each other to friends lists. i would like to start a ZA guild if other ppl also interested but you can only register a guild once you reach lvl100 so i'll work on that.

give it a shot, its not a huge download(around 220mb) and you might just like it.
