I know I could do with another gb for aperture but that would involve me binning a 1gb stick :o
Just don't buy the RAM from Apple themselves. If you purchase a Mac from the online store and you want more memory, Apple will totally gouge you on the price.

Yes TransIntl.com is a great source of great quality RAM. I bought MacPro RAM from them and their DIMMS beat Apple's own specs :).
