Telecoms industry plays out like a blue movie

So thats what the DO DO Do Advert is on about.

And according to Telkom, I can download this all with my Do broadband Connection, Usage Caps withstanding

Oh, what a lovely way to brighten up my day.
 
Titles for movies ' Deep Pockets ' - ' Debbie calls to Dallas ' - 'Lost the plot, is Paris ' - 'Basic in fighting '
 
Shake&Bake, yeah, I suppose you're right. I just hope he used a pen and paper with his research and not a box of tissues and a bottle of handcream :p:D

LOL :D, a direct result of the monopolised fixed line telecoms sector that we have to put up with :mad:.

I suggest the following standardised cast of characters with some colourful descriptions:
  • SA's telecoms pimp will be played by the Grim Poisonous Ivyness Creep - consumers know Ivy is [mis]managing telecoms to death but Ivy is really good at hiding in the shadows of a really dark alleyway, munching doughnuts, that consumers are never able to see & tackle Ivy directly - Ivy didn't even attend her last 2 telecoms orgies - instead Ivy sent her deputy-pimp, Roy, instead.
  • Paris Mashile: no one has figured what he does.
  • SA's telecoms prostitute will be played by Telkodemonopolies, which murders its competition and blackmails all its customers into marrying it...
  • SA's consumers & ISPs will be Telkodemonopolies' unwilling customers.

As my name suggests I am no fan of the monopoly but this article is in bad taste. In fact I find the imagery / comparison it uses quite disgusting. It is crude and vulgar. :mad: :sick: :mad:

@MyADSL: Perhaps this kind of journalism is best suited to the back page of a smutty magazine, and best omitted from a forum like MyADSL.

I have been spoofing people with the Telkom SMS speech synthesiser for a long time now. Its a lot of fun. Usually it reads out the number before the message is read, but most people ignore the number since they have no idea whats going on. This women sounds like one such person who didnt know what was going on.

Yah, it could just be a friend playing a prank on her. I'll occasionaly use this service to send messages to friends and family just for fun. I just love making that voice speak comical words and phrases. :p
