Connecting PS2 to PC

i have GeForce 6600GT card & would like to connect PS2 using S-Video input... Well i have it connected at the moment but how do i view the video/PS2? or begin playing, nothing shows on the monitor...

Please advice
 
Noticed 6600GT has S Video as OUT not IN... Any ideas on how i can insert video IN as YPbPr or S Video? My monitor Acer monitor doesn't have S-Video input as well...kinda stuck here:(:confused:
 
I've been hunting for a gadget to render composite or s-video input to a VGA output for some time.. so far I've found this: http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/video-vga-gvm-2000.html which is exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for.. but I've yet to find where I can get one locally.. :(
At a reasonable rate I mean.. I did once come across a locally produced thing but it was ugly and expensive ( > R1000.00)..

Anyway.. you'll need to find something like this. Assuming you just want the PS2 to output on your VGA monitor rather than using a TV? If you actually wanted it to "pass through" your pc (to make recordings or whatever) you'd need some sort of capture card..
 
Your best bet and cheapest option will be to get a TV-card connect it upto your pc, and plug the PS2 into your tv-card
(Tvcards go from anywhere around R250 to around R850 for the good one's)

If you have a LCD monitor , some lcd's have a Composite input (as mine does) that makes it easy.

I thought of this as the only option... My 19" doesn't have composite in... Only DVI and normal analog.... Damn Acer
