I'm planning to buy one of the two but stuck as to which direction to go... Any ideas? This is now for PC gaming... Some say FIFA 07 has won the title but some say it's easier to play and to win teams compared to Evo 6 (PES).... Where's more fun here....

Fifa is easier and pes 6 is more of a challenge. If you like to play with epl teams just be aware that they aren't lincened in pes so they have different names.

Seriously buy PES 6. As a football nut ive played both games extensively and PES 6 is miles better. The most important thing about football games is the gameplay.PES6 actually feels like u are playing football.FIFA on the other hand is more about the looks and gloss. The FIFA07 gameplay is a worst gameplay ive seen in years.

This is exactly the comment made by every else who played the two games... PES wins in game play (more real) but else it loses... Mh... think i'm gonna go for PES 6... I'm not worried about unlicensed teams

I beg to differ but being a PES fan I also do try out the FIFA titles and recently PES has been lacking in its promise to deliver more in their games. Currently FIFA07 & PES6 are tied IMO as EA has really closed the gap by adding better gameplay to their already superior graphical representation of the game.

I am eagerly awaiting reviews for FIFA08 & PES 2008 when these two are released in September/October 2007.

I would go for FIFA 07. I've played both and for me on PES6 the players look all bunched together on the pitch and the game looks very arcadish like that soccer game they have in the arcade. I also hate the fact that when you pass the ball it doesn't go to your man and if it does he can't really control it. In FIFA all of these things work nice. Anyway thats my 2 cents.

nope im sorry fifa games are totally random you can generally score everytime from the same position when you find

its easy, goals are easy to score, its very arcade like

PES is the closest you will ever get to realism in a soccer game, its hard if you do score you feel proud

Fifa FTL i stopped playing fifa even before i saw PES

yes if you like all names and arcade style football then choose fifa

yes PES soccer does do that neo but if you watch football not every pass hits a player like fifa 2007

ok i understand what you saying,Altough it is a videogame passing the ball around in a real life game isnt as easy as hitting the x button and you going to get the ball at your feet every time.I think with PES the developers are going for the real deal not a simple click R2 button bash run and shoot game.

I found FIFA to technicall to play on x-box, way to many button and setups to play the game,Offensive,Defensive then Offensive controls,Sometimes i was busy trying to figure out this that i was looking at the manual most of the time...IF i wanted to play something as technical as the new FIFA series then i would rather just play Champ manager instead.

As for PES i liked the fact that i could simply just dummy a defender and turn him right round and sprint into space...Lob pass....header....GOOAAL!!!!

Had FIFA on my PC and had PES on my PSP....ended up playing the PSP flat!!

Well, too late or FIFA... Just bought PES 6... Why is Incredible Connection so expensive.. This game is R520.00 but bought it at look&listen for R329.00...Anyways, i'll give it a try and see if it's too difficult to score that i may even regret buying it... What's a game without a score anyway

PES is the way to go, if you bought a version for PC and not a console - search around on the net and someone will have created a player DB for the correct names etc

Just play on begineer.u should beat them about 10-0.Playing on world class is fcuking hard.Do your self a favour and download some of the patches/addons.U can get patches that give u full licences for all the teams. So u will have updated rosters + stadiums + player names. Also their is a cool Champions league patch and a 120 stadium addon.

You should have bought online. I bought my copy of pes 6 for R180 that includes shipping a week or so back from kalahari. http://www.kalahari.net/gaming/product.asp?sku=30673510

I own both pes 6 and fifa 2007.

The major differences is the fifa has the better graphics but there controls frankly suck. Even with a gamepad you have to be able to press too many buttons at the same time for some moves.

Pes is a lot more simplified but still offers more of a challenge. The only thing I dislike about pes was the manual were they have the controls listed as a playstation controller. Most pc gamers do not have a ps2 controller so the manual isn't very helpful.

Also since I only play with Inter milan the not having fully licensed english teams don't bother me.

Overall pes 6 is the better game imho.

Inter Milan are the best team in PES6.Just give the ball to adriano and he bangs the ball into the top corner from 50 yards. His left foot so forking powerful

I've downloaded the patch (193MB) and installed but haven't noticed a change... Where should these changes be, when selecting teams (International, European teams, African teams, etc...)? I'm not sure how has patching this game advantaged me!

it depends on what patch it is.Tell me the name and location where u got this patch

Its should be a seperate .exe / game.It will lauch a champions league version of PES6.U will definetely notice a difference. All the menus in the game will be different and their will be different background music.

Well now that u have the game , come play online. Its the best part of the game.
