Any ideas on getting gprs to work after MNP from MTN

Hi

I have moved from MTN to Virgin. GPRS did work on the sim till the number ported. Since then have not got it to work again.

Have contacted Shane Parry sent through my IME. Have also got the setting on my phone update. I have also manually checked them with the settings on the list.

Is there anything else that I should try. Has anyone else got this to work.

I have an Imate Kjam.

Hi thaak,

There could be a couple of causes, the most likely could boil down to two a) after the port your service was not provisioned correctly on the network; b) there is a specific settings file that we use for the Windows based product; the auto settings don't do the trick.

Sorted thanks. Must say except for the gprs thing have been very happy with virgin.
