I would doubt the validity of this information. We all know that the West will always try to distort the truth. I know many South African diplomats on foreign soil. They are all honourable people with unbreakable trust.

I am confused by these reports.
 
Was they dismayed because of the figure or that it was released?

Oh come on, are you accusing the British Foreign Office of lying? To what end? If so then provide an alternative source, one other than your alleged personal experiences. Notice that even the SA Department of Foreign Affairs isn't disputing the information.
 
Didn't the son of a diplomat try rob a store in Britain? Anyway, I believe the British over South-Africa.

Why would they lie? They have nothing to gain or lose. Facts are facts. Why do we think that our diplomats would act any different than some of the diplomats in our own country/parlement?

Congratulations, you are the second welcome addition to my Bozo bin. My guess you could well be one of those "diplomats" since you are in Europe and tow the ANC party line so rigidly.
