Transvaal Deputy Judge President Jerry Shongwe turned down a bail application by Vermeulen (39), who submitted that his five-year-old son needs him and is likely to suffer a permanent personality disorder if he does not get to know his father.

Vermeulen's son, Juan, was six months old when his father -- a Free State farmer -- was arrested in connection with high treason, terrorism and other charges in October 2002, and has only seen his dad for half-an-hour once a month since then.

I feel sorry for him and his son but he should have thought about that before he got involved with this bunch of traitorous loonies ("white breeding camps at Pelindaba for example").
 
What's a "white breeding camp" ??

He's been waiting a long time for the trial. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Well the Boeremag keep on delaying the trial with **** like this and it doesn't help when they keep trying to escape...

They are constantly complaining like a bunch of babies

They have in the past delayed because of abuse by prison staff and the court not having ducks in a row. If you are white and right wing, the message seems to be "we'll mess you around as a warning to others". {Pass me another banana}

I agree they should have been executed by now for High Treason...

The only reason to keep them around is for entertainment value. They must be the stupidest people on the planet.

They can get executed for treason when Ivy gets executed for treason for holding back the countries development with high telecoms costs...

It sounds like when the ANC started bombing everything in sight for their cause. This is just in Afrikaans. :p
Not much different that the killings, rioting, intimidation we experienced with the last strike, or the scare that the whole country's lights will be put off by the Eskom workers if they don't get the increase in salary that they want. It the same as holding someone for ransom. No difference whatsoever.

Nobody else was quite stupid enough to come up with the breeding camp idea though. Seriously. WTF?
 
Not that I condone terrorism but the ANC were fighting to free most of the people in the country. What were the boeremag trying to do? Set things back the way they were?

Obviously the Boeremag is fighting for the "Boere". And just as there where people screaming about what the ANC did that time, there are people screaming about the Boeremag today. They are the enemy of the state after all. Just as the ANC was the enemy of the state in those years.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with fighting for what you believe in. But creating anarchy while doing that, just is not the right way.
We would like everyone to work together for a common cause in our country, whatever it might be, seeing as there are so many causes, but I don't think there is a country on Earth where everyone agrees about everything. That is the wonder of diversity and it keeps the state, government and rulers on their toes.
I can think of quite a few positive things about the good ol days as you aptly named it, as I can think of a few positive things about our current situation. In the end, I don't think the "apartheid government" did all that bad. Without them, quite frankly, there would not have been a modern South Africa, with the help off course of everyone that worked hard.
