Sure, teachers should be paid more. Nurses should be paid more.

90k minimum wage....WTF?!?! Thats a nice minumum wage, plus all those benefits. My shortsighted 2 cents worth: "I say fire their asses and they wont have a problem with replacements with what they offer"

There is an Audit underway atm regarding actual figures and the number of workers may have changed but the percentage hasn't. 30% is standard.

My point is that they have no rights that seem to be violated and definitely shouldn't be negotiating anything. They're being given the world already. And honestly, half their call centre staff are useless, yet they still get these benefits. They're lucky to have a job, in my opinion, let alone all of this.
that's probably bcos a few former-CWU members came to their senses & moved from the CWU to another union that already has 30%+ representation...no comment on the subsequent quoted ramblings of a mad-CWU-person in the IOL article.Madikizela

The right to freedom of association have been violated by the company.With every struggle there will be those that are short sighted and refuse to see the bigger picture.Money is not everything if your working conditons are unfavourable.Having a job is not a privilege but a right and being on strike is a protected right.Victory will be on the side of workers...Amandla
