uhm, I disagree.

I believe most people mean "in a relationship" when referring to this topic.
In other words "wives talk more than their husbands".
How many of these college students are in a relationship - let alone a long term one.
 
Well when I'm flapping my tongue my husband quite easiliy keeps up with my wordcount just by saying 'yes dear' 'no dear' 'as you like dear'......:D:D:D
 
these type of research conducted just further alienate men and women from each other. it reinforces differences which is totally wrong.... stereotypes about women and men are creating us as opposites and not equals!
