It is not about sustainability, this is short term control before he flees the country, as all his actions of late has been to destroy any hope of economic recovery. I bet RSA will grant Mugabe asylum and will ensure his continued well-being with our tax money. Mark this post, it won't be that long.

Quoted for posterity. Wouldn't surprise me. :mad:Mugabe has plenty of cash offshore anyway.
 
I see the sunday times headline is "Zimbabwe Collapses" ...[only now, how many times can a country collapse without recovering?] . I wonder how much land there will be after all the Zimmies are down here [and they obviously won't have cash to get back] and Mugabe dissapears....will it be up for grabs, first come first serve?


EDIT: yes i'm being cynical and sarcastic, because quite frankly i don't know what to say anymore. Our govt. obviously doesn't give a crap, the rest of Africa -support- all this and now all we can sit and do is "i told you so?" .

Honestly, we should just annex zim and be done with it already. Most of their population is here already we might as well get the land in the deal.

Sure, why not, there wont be almost no Zimbabweans there, they'd almost all be here. The ones that are there they could use for slave labour or something, or just chase out. Zim has useful many natural resources...
