I'm reposting in this forum - Wi-Fi &Wisp seems dead:

I am running 2 linksys WRT54's with WDS enabled - If I use mac filtering, must the mac addresses of my wireless clients be entered into both routers or only one and can mac address filtering be run with WPA=TKIP security.

most security experts say that mac filtering is a waste of time. (also say that about WEP) it takes 3 seconds to spoof a mac address and a little longer to crack WEP. WPA is very secure.

Thanks - so I'm not going to bother with mac filtering.. just keep WPA as it is.
