Mail Undelivered that I never sent..

I often get emails in the usual format from le daemon saying messages I've sent have been undelivered due to x problem. Now often it says undelivered to address similar to my own but I've never physically emailed the address nor heard of it.

Are these emails just typical spam or have I got something that's sending spam from my pc?
 
If you don't have a router/firewall it could be, otherwise your email was purged out of someone else's computer address book (who you sent an email to).

U might hav something forwarding spam to your contacts in your address book

Using outlook ? Got any decent AV and Spyware/Adware progrms installed on your pc ?
 
I get exactly the same thing - some emails from legitimate addresses claiming non-delivery. Interesting thing is that the non-delivery of mail is to people and companies I have never heard of. Norton doesn't pick anything up, neither does Ad Aware or even Kaspersky.

Spammers are either using your email addresses as SENT FROM email addresses in mass mailings OR someone who has your email in their
address book has a virus which is using your email address in the same way.
