International connectivity degraded?

It was a bit slower than usual earlier but seems ok now.:)

As much as I hate to say it so was ADSL.:o

I assume all of you are back to normal browsing speed right now.

Got a bit worried earlier today when my download speed from RapidShare dropped from 3,9mbps to around 1,7mbps, then I checked iburst download speed and it was around 300kbps to 400kbps worst it's been for ages.

Both systems seem to be back up to speed my side for the past few hours.

Overall intl was bad today, Telkom, Verizon, IS...

Surprisingly enough I had International on my ISDSL account today for the first time this month (besides beginin < 3GB month time), so cant complain, hehe.

However yeah, using my SAIX International account it hasn't been up to scratch.. Unshaped SAIX, guess this would be affecting all other services, Telkom being the upstream provider of many companies.

Aah good to hear you get almost 4mbps speeds on international too :D

Surely no cap could withstand that?

Probably not normally except I've run out of stuff to download thats of any interest to me, besides I still have my carry over from iburst to burn up so I've only used around 800mb of the ADSL so far.

From the reply I got on the ADSL forum it seems the 3GB package is hard capped at around 6GB which is not too bad.:D

That kind of makes sense if there was a problem with the Fibre up north. BTW, a colleague was having similar hassles today from Rwanda to US, not sure what route they take being East African, but it must have been an upstream hassle.
I didn't test IS thoroughly enough to confirm quality like I did Verizon and SAIX.

My international speeds are also a bit sluggish... but I really really miss my torrents since it's not even connecting anymore.. :(

Iburst YOU Suck

I'm connected via GPRS - I can't connect via iBurst at all. Have I hit the mysterious hard cap (used 3501 MB or so...)?

Doe's that mean they've removed the 64kbps after cap?

I would have thought if they had someone would have already complained here.
