im a linux NOOOOOOOOOB !

saw a youtube vid comparing ubuntu beryl vs vista.... and i fell in love with linux. so i thought ... got to start somewhere.... downloaded ubuntu feisty fawn, followed a youtube tutorial :) on how to create a dual boot windows/ubuntu setup... got that right.... even got beryl install right....

love ubuntu, can run my whole life on it....

but damn... im clueless in trying to get my E220 working. cant even get wvdial working... yup im pretty damn useless :)

yes, i do understand this is NOT the place to teach someone how to operate linux, lol unless you want to... i wish i could just be pointed to someone who could set it up for me (while i wait of course) geez why cant there be youtube videos for everything :D

not to sure if 64bit is the way to go, for drivers and software and stuff like that. On various mailing lists there are people who do have problems with 64bit software. Maybe if somebody with a bit more insight to 64bit could comment ?

KVi: python is a programming language. Its pretty powerfull, some of the ubuntu programs are made in python, so i hear.

Normally you don't upgrade to a 64bit Linux...you install it. I think that is what caused the problems. If you want to, re-install the 64bit one rather.

Laterz !
