Hey guys... I was just wondering how much you had managed to download on an iBurst connection in one month...

Please also state which package you are on...

Thx, Dono

79.8 gigs if I remember correctly.

Lowest Pro Package.

However note, as I constantly do, that this was mostly thanks to the hub and a good 20gigs or so are uploads.

Did you miss out the few weeks where that happened? They cut some people off for that kind of usage.

I think they've gone back on it now though.... people here were very upset :p

Aye tis as Ekhaatlongnameicantreallyspell says.

Allan Knott doesn't seem to like the hub "congesting his towers" even though the bandwidth is all internal. To make things more *interesting* I found out both him and the retention manager have been keeping an eye ON ME...and that includes reading my little site (as mentioned in meh signature).

The awesomeness of being told "Oh I'm a big fan of your site!" by the very people who cut off my internet access making it so I couldn't update anymore is....just a wittle hard to comprehend.

dont be scared of abuse, if you are using the service that is offered then iburst cant call "abuse". your throttle of 7K/s non-stop downloading cannot account for abuse because it is what is offered by iburst. If it does, there are better and cheaper alternatives to iBurst.

I find it kinda "strange" that when I capped I can't really make use of the 7kb thing...yeah browsing seems ok...but as soon as I click on something to download I get the usual timeout...hmmm

stranger still is the amazingly slow upload speeds recently... i didnt the bandwidth test in ibursts site, came with 44K download and a 10K upload... seriously uploading to DA takes forever for just a 1MB picture :(

My downloads on the 8kb (64kb) service usually work fine, I downloaded a whole 175mb file like that last night, just let it run, off a single thread uploading service with no resume, and it finished.
