We've bought a previously owned domain that has expired. It is a .co.za domain.
The problem is all email that is send to this domain via a telkom dialup connection gets the following error:
<yyy@www.co.za>:
Sorry, no mailbox here by that name.
What could the problem be? All email that is send from a Telkom ADSL connection is delivered. If I try to send an email from Telkoms webmail it just disappear.
Please Help.

We've bought it in January 2007.
Since i've posted here i have found out that some of Telkoms DNS server dosn't query the mail server correct. It still have the old DNS records.
How can i correct that problem?

since xrapudx didn't say it, Welcome to MyADSL.
i've experienced a similar problem with telkom not obeying the TTL (time to live) on DNS records.
i phoned their support and told them about the problem, but they did not know what I was talking about and insisted that the problem is not on their side.
eventually i was able to make the 1st level support agent feel stupid and she put me through to a 2nd level support guy, who fixed the problem within a few hours.

Take it up with your host provider

Thanks for the welcome!
I've talked to Telkom (Took me hour and half) and it seem to work for now.
I insist on a ref number, and someone on the tech side to call me. It took them 2 hours to fix it. I must say 1st level don't now anything, but as soon as you talk to someone that actually knows what a DNS server is and that your domain name has to have the correct DNS records on Telkom side, it was a matter of minutes and the problem was fixed.
Thanks for your support!
