Ja, got a promo disc from somewhere.

Its got copy protection, which i've easily bypassed.

Its got 40 songs on it, some of which i wouldnt mind adding to my collection - (they are the full songs)

The songs have a bit of talking over them, which last 10 secs or so, (the song still plays while this idiot says a couple of things.

I kinda think the disc might of came with a 'you' mag, or some other womens mag or something.

So my question is, is there a way to seperate the song from the promo talking.

Its a kinda BMG promo where the guy talks about the song abit.

So, as the 2 recordings were done seperate - IE - the original song and the promo talk, and now they are glued together, how do i unglue them?

The track with voice overs will be stereo,so no.

Here's a method you can try but with no guaranteed results...and you might end up with a not so good result.I am assuming the person talks the last seconds of a track with HOPEFULLY some part vocals only in the end ala mixtape style. You'll have to use a wav editor.Try and highlight some promo talk only, with no music.Save it as a noise profile. Now remove that "noise" from the entire song.It will not always work.

Or you can just delete the promo talk part in a wav editor and do a 10 sec fade out.

There is no way in doing it really. You get the typical "karoake" filters and stuff, but nothing works. The voice and music is all on the same track

Its a PROMO !! somewhere on there it will state for promotional purposes only buy the proper CD's and your problem is solved.

They sometimes rip CD's like that for pre-releases (warez), it's really irritating. Too bad there's no good way of taking it off..

Ya, look, its no big deal, its just that there was a couple of songs i would of liked.
The talk over is at random, throughout the songs, so it looks like, according to yuo guys i cant delete it..

Thnaks, anyway... Boodles throws disc in bin.
