I found this promotional video rather unique.

By the looks of things, HP called these RX 7640 servers "bulletproof" (ie, durable, stable, etc) and then decided to see what happens when they actually did shoot a bullet at it.

Seems that companies enjoy testing their servers to the extreme, lol. Which is good for the end customer I suppose. These experiments are good, as I for one find that hardware can't really survive a few knocks so I wouldnt mind hardware that can handle a bullet or anvil...

They could of done another video with that, I'm not sure. But it is a valid question. Still, the bullet did hit the hardware and did do damage with no apparent performance loss. pretty impressive all things considered :)

personally, if they had to shoot it from the side, I wouldn't mind seeing performance loss as long as it kept on running - my thinking being that if it got damaged you could still backup the data or whatever before it went down.
