Can't 'see' my other HDD - but can send

Hi,

I can't seem to see my one PC on my LAN, despite sharing the HDD and having the same Workgroup. I can, however, remote desktop and send files across.

What am I over looking?
 
Install netbeui* ( I know my answer for all of these PCs not seeing each other issues :p)

*this protocol is available on your Windows CD under (opticaldriveletter):\VALUEADD\MSFT\NET\NETBEUI , just follow the steps as listed in NETBEUI.TXT. Note that INF is a hidden directory, but by typing INF into RUN you can access it easily.
 
first disable all firewalls and then whack ( \\ ) to the ather pc
if that works the fw needs some new rules
 
Thanks! Everything fantastic ... but one other issue with sharing :/
