I need graphic card that can support two monitors 22" and 19" (maybe 2x22" in future) to extend desktop.
This is not for gaming it is for stock trading. Price range up to 1k would be ok.
Suggestions please

not all of them support high res on both. you would be best served by going for an entry level quadro card. sadly they start at about 1500 for a 285 NVS. it can however handle 2 LCD`s running 1600x1200. i got a 8600 gts and had to swap it for a asus 6800 because i run 2 LCD`s @ 1280x1024 and the 8600 couldn't.

Any basic Geforce 7/8 class graphics card in that price range (Safely between R600-R1000)

I've seen this on the lowest Geforce 7200 Card up to the 7400GS's etc.

You just need to check the packaging / details on the card box has the following : DVI and D-SUB (The DVI is for Digial LCD monitors and the D-Sub is the old 15pin Analogue connector we got on our old CRT displays and some LCD's support it too)

Just make sure that your LCD's support one DVI and one Analogue (or make sure that the video card has a DVI -> Analogue converter.
 
i know that the geforce will support 2 screens at 1024 x 768. have no idea about the amd.
 
If I was you I would go for something more high end that can handle a resolution of 2 x 1600x1050 or whatever 22" is ... the other cards will run it but they will struggle.
If you don't care about DX10 ... go for a Asus Radeon X1950Pro which isn't too expensive but is a very powerful card without going for the overkill of a 8800 ... I don't have one listed on my site to show you, but my price on this item is R1750 to give you an idea of price.
 
Well, he isnt planning on playing games, and he only does stock quotes / tracking.

I did the same thing for one of my clients and his system has 2 x 19" LCD's (not quite 22" but still the same) and a GF7300GT in there, and it runs his stock quotes / tracking programs 100%

He says its the best thing he could've ever done.

The bottom line is that he's running 2D acceleration, so the GPU isnt really stressed to its limit since its not rendering 3D (as you would with games).

My opinion is get a card for R1000 and that should be more than sufficient
 
Ya I suppose if its just stocks and quotes ... the strain is on the CPU and Memory rather. I assume he's running PCI-E ... cause good options would prob be either 7600GS which is around R830, 8500GT which is around R900 or if it is AGP, then 6800XT 256MB for round R640
