Hi
Total newbie to Kubuntu here, just installed the OS on my laptop, would it be possible to install my Vodacom 3G software and use my 3G card to browse the internet from Kubuntu??

Hi arj
The short answer is yes.
Seeing as I use Slack to connect with my HTC phone, my setup is a little different to yours. The basics are the same though, you need a driver (perhaps your distro includes this), a userspace program like wvdial and a config file containing specific details for your provider.

Have a look at this page (and others on the Ubuntu site)

Also search the forums:

Be sure to specify your distro version and the details of your datacard when asking for help.
